...HEAT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THURSDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Afternoon heat indices are forecast to peak in the 100 to 107 degree
range for many locations.

There is a low potential for thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening for portions of the area. However, any storm that does
develop has the potential to be strong and produce gusty winds and
small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Afternoon heat indices are forecast to peak in the 100 to 105 degree
range in many locations Thursday.

Thunderstorms are possible area-wide Thursday through Tuesday,
especially during the afternoon and evening hours. A few storms that
develop Thursday and Friday will be capable of producing gusty winds
and small hail.
