            The Knox County Sheriffs Department issued a
            press release that confirmed four
            non-life-threatening injuries from
            fog-related car crashes on US-25E near the
            intersection with Hazel Fork Road this
            morning. Knox County dispatch received
            reports of extremely foggy conditions on the
            road at 5:40 AM. Pictures from the crash
            site indicate near-zero visibility, and
            there were multiple social media reports
            before the time of the crash that
            characterized the fog as smelling like smoke
            near Gillam Hill. US-25E was then closed
            between the Corbin Bypass (KY-3041) and
            Richland Church Road until 8am. A dense fog
            advisory was in effect at the time.
