...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN POWELL...SOUTHEASTERN
MONTGOMERY...SOUTH CENTRAL BATH...WEST CENTRAL MORGAN...MENIFEE AND
NORTHWESTERN WOLFE COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM EDT...

At 1115 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Nada, or 7 miles east of Stanton, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stanton, Frenchburg, Jeffersonville, Wellington, Campsites in the
Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest, Means, Bowen,
Cornwell, Rothwell, Olympia Springs, Red River Gorge, Cedar Groves,
Denniston, Slade, Fagan, Tabor, Rosslyn, Ratlitt, Scranton, and
Mariba.

THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 21
and 36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
