...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL WAYNE COUNTY
THROUGH 815 PM EDT...
At 740 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cabell, or 13 miles west of Monticello, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cabell, Zula, Hidalgo, Parnell, Susie, and Alpha.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
