Temperatures falling into the upper teens and lower 20s following recent snowfall is leading to some lingering slick spots on area roadways. Slick spots should mainly occur on untreated, mainly secondary and tertiary roads, as well as on some bridges and overpasses. Drier air moving into the region as well as temperatures rising above freezing after sunrise should end the threat by around 10 AM EST on Tuesday morning. Those traveling overnight should plan on potentially slippery road conditions and exercise caution, including extra time to reach your destination. $$ JP
