...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BREATHITT COUNTY THROUGH
800 PM EDT...
At 728 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Haddix, or near Jackson, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Sikes, Hardshell, Noble, Copland, Haddix, Saldee, Clayhole, Smith
Branch, Dumont, Curt, Lost Creek, Wilstacy, Flintville, Little,
Howard Creek, Quicksand, Whick, Portsmouth, Watts, and Press.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
