...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN...
NORTHWESTERN JOHNSON...NORTHEASTERN BREATHITT...MAGOFFIN AND EASTERN
WOLFE COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Licksburg, or near Salyersville, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Paintsville, Salyersville, Mason, Lewis, Burkhart, Florress, Falcon,
Wonnie, Burning Fork, Kernie, Collista, West Royalton Station,
Redbush, Relief, Swamp Branch, Ever, Cottle, Perlie, Niles, and
Orient.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 61 and 76.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Johnson County between mile markers 4 and 14.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
