...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LAUREL...
SOUTHEASTERN PULASKI AND SOUTH CENTRAL ROCKCASTLE COUNTIES THROUGH
1015 PM EDT...

At 945 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ruth, or near Somerset, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Somerset, Grade, Ruth, Elihu, Shopville, Mount Victory, Bloss, Dykes,
Valley Oak, Rockcastle Springs, Bent, Somerset Pulaski Airport,
Hansford, and Ferguson.

THIS INCLUDES Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County between mile
markers 18 and 39.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
