...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LAUREL...
SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON AND NORTHWESTERN CLAY COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM
EDT...

At 251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Maplesville, or near London, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
London, Grace, Pittsburg, Zekes Point, Lake, Maulden, Cane Creek,
Fogertown, Treadway, Mummie, Tyner, Privett, Settle Store,
Chestnutburg, Shepherdtown, Hooker, Byron, Moores Creek, Royrader,
and Sacker Gap.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 1 and 16.
 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 39 and
41.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Laurel County near mile marker 11.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
