 weekend.

-Northeasterly breezes gradually slackening from moderate or fresh
 to gentle to moderate through the work week.

-Temperatures will remain at near normal values through the
 forecast period.

The forecast remains on track this morning with temperatures already
hovering in the low 80s throughout the island chain. Not
anticipating showers to impact the islands today in the current
pattern, but cannot rule out a sprinkle or two this afternoon,
especially across the southwestern Florida Straits. Cloud cover
has continued to gradually improve throughout the morning thanks
to slightly drier air sliding into the area. Expect mostly sunny
conditions through the remainder of the day.

High pressure stretching from the western Atlantic to the Florida
panhandle will lead to easterly to northeasterly breezes across
the Florida Keys coastal waters. The high gradually weakens
during the second half of the week, which will allow breezes to
slacken from moderate or fresh to gentle by the weekend. Expect
slightly fresher breezes south of the island chain.

VFR conditions will prevail at both EYW and MTH. Shower activity
is not anticipated along the island chain today. Easterly winds
will prevail around 10 to 15 knots.
