.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1030 PM EDT Mon Sep 1 2025

A broad very early season mid latitude trough remains parked over
the eastern United States. The lower level trough reaches down
into South Florida and central Gulf. An associated weak surface
low is stewing off the Central Florida Atlantic Coast. The result
of this is a continuation of the days long wet weather pattern
across the Keys. This evenings sounding indicated considerable
deep layered moisture with ample CAPE. Convection near the island
chain has died down over the past couple of hours. However, new
round of showers have begun developing on our Gulf and Bay side
waters.

No notable changes are expected to the weather pattern across the
broader area. The broad band of increased moisture and confluent
flow will remain across our area while the low remains nearly
stationary off the Florida Coast. As a result, further rounds of
shower and thunderstorm activity are expected. Away from rain
cooling, overnight lows will be broadly in the lower 80s with dew
points in the mid to upper 70s.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1030 PM EDT Mon Sep 1 2025

A weak low pressure system will continue to churn off the Central
Florida Atlantic coast. This will keep a wet pattern across Keys
waters through the overnight period. While activity has died down
in recent hours, expect additional spats of showers and
thunderstorms. A localized wind surge occurring in the vicinity
of the Upper Keys will ease off considerably over the next couple
of hours. Aside from this, winds will be light to gentle and
broadly out of the west.

.AVIATION...
(00Z TAFS)
Issued at 1030 PM EDT Mon Sep 1 2025

Weather has quieted down across the area in recent hours. With
that said, a wet weather pattern remains draped across our area.
Consequently, expect further spells of sub VFR conditions. Away
from convection, surface winds will be light to gentle out of the
west.
