Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas
1024 PM EDT Sun May 11 2025

.SYNOPSIS...
Deep troughing over the northern Gulf coast has eroded the
surface high that was previously encompassing the forecast area.
Moderate to occasionally fresh southeast breezes will hold steady
through tonight and tomorrow while the heart of the low meanders
in place. Scattered to numerous showers with embedded isolated to
scattered thunderstorms will continue through early Tuesday. As
the low lifts toward the northeast during the middle of the week,
higher pressure will be able to fill in behind it, encouraging
drier weather and slackening breezes.
