to south of Dry Tortugas, and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
America, including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

The Wave Detail section highlights the period and direction of
origin for the highest-energy waves, as well as any long-period
swells moving in a different direction than the wind.

.SYNOPSIS...
A broad area of high pressure over the eastern United States will
sustain gentle to moderate, occasionally fresh, breezes across the
FLorida Keys waters this weekend. Small Craft Should Exercise
Caution for increasing winds are in effect for portions of the
marine zones tonight. Breezes are on track to slacken tomorrow,
but stronger winds along the east coast will generate a higher
northerly swell for the waters south of the Upper Keys. Expect
breezes to slacken during the weekend with light to gentle breezes
possible midweek. Shower chances will be elevated through Monday
with the peak expected on Sunday. Drier conditions will be able to
set up during the middle of the week.
