A cold front will continue to slowly drag through the Florida
Keys, resulting in dry and breezy to windy conditions. The driest
timeframe will be through the rest of today as minimum RH values
will be between 50-60%. While this does coincide with 20-ft winds
near 15 mph, the current Significant Fire Potential Rating is Low.
If there are any instances of Red Flag conditions, they will be
very short lived as RH recovers tonight to near 90%. The
progressive nature of the overall pattern means dry air won`t have
the opportunity to linger very long, and we will see a gradual
return of moisture over the weekend. This is reflected in minimum
RH values on Saturday night/Sunday morning of 65% to near 70%.
However, winds in the lower levels will still be breezy with gusts
along the island chain near 25 mph at times.
