Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
431 AM EDT Sat May 31 2025

.Discussion...
A strengthening low pressure system will continue moving
northeastward into New England today. Its corresponding cold front
will continue to press southeastward stalling somewhere in the
vicinity of Central to South Florida for much of the weekend.
This will result in a wetter regime with an increase in coverage
area for showers and thunderstorms as the weekend progress. As a a
result, slight chances (20%) are forecast today and tonight with
40% for Sunday. Gentle to moderate southwest to west winds are
expected through the period. Min RH values are expected to be in
the mid 60s percent today and in the upper 60s percent for Sunday
with good RH recovery overnight into the lower 90s percent.
