Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
424 AM EDT Wed Aug 27 2025

.Discussion...
An early season Canadian high pressure system will move
southeastward across the Midwest and eastern United States over
the next several days. This in combination with a weak surface
ridge across the Keys will result in light to gentle northeast to
east breezes for the next few days, occasionally becoming gentle
breezes. Moisture undulations around the high in the Atlantic and
a stalled boundary to the north will result in near to slightly
above normal rain chances for the next few days. Min RH values are
expected to be near 60 percent today and in the lower 60s percent
on Wednesday with good RH recover to near 90 percent tonight.
