Rain chances will remain elevated through today as an unsettled
weather pattern continues to envelop the forecast area. Similar to
recent days, scattered showers will have embedded heavier,
stronger showers and thunderstorms that could greatly skew
rainfall amounts along the Keys. In general, rainfall totals for
today and tonight are expected to be somewhere around half of an
inch up to nearly an inch. However, the caveat is the likelihood
of embedded heavier, stronger showers and thunderstorms that will
skew rainfall totals with localized higher amounts. Minimum RH
values will be on the higher side, around 75%, and recover to near
90% overnight. Looking ahead, drier air will filter in by the
middle of the week, and rain and thunder chances will trend
downward significantly.
