Relatively benign weather conditions will continue today, but
increased moisture coupled with veering breezes in the vertical
profile will result in some shower activity with a 30 percent
chance of rain today increasing to a 40 percent chance tonight. A
slight chance of thunder isn`t in the forecast until tonight, but
the best chance for any lightning looks like it will be offshore
to the south and west of the island chain. Relative humidity
values will continue to gradually increase as damp air sits in
place ahead of an approaching cold front.
