.Discussion...
A wet and stormy weather pattern is expected through at least
Thursday as tropical moisture from the Caribbean spreads northward
into the area. This pattern will bring rain chances as high as
80% into Wednesday. Surface winds will be mainly light to gentle
mostly out of the south this week but wind speeds may briefly
increase to moderate at times, particularly in the evening and
overnight hours. Wind will then become more northerly by the end
of the week in the wake of a weak cold front that moves through
the area. In addition, drier air will filter into the region in
the wake of the frontal passage late in the week, though
precipitation chances still linger into the weekend as the frontal
boundary stalls just to our south in the Straits offshore of
Cuba.
