A busier weather pattern is unfolding for the Thanksgiving
holiday. Early morning showers will encourage additional shower
activity today and tonight. Very isolated, infrequent
thunderstorms cannot be ruled out during the morning, but thunder
chances diminish to near zero by tonight. Generally east to
southeast breezes will back to the north over the course of the
day, and will freshen drastically overnight as a cold front
pushes through the Keys. Drier air will settle in by tomorrow, and
minimum RH values will be near 35 percent. There is a window of
time during the very early Friday morning hours where 20 ft
sustained winds will be near 15 mph, but the Significant Fire
Potential Rating is currently Low. Looking ahead, moisture will
gradually build as the front decays over the weekend, so any
periods of fire weather concerns will be short lived over the next
couple of days.
