At 308 AM EST, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
strong thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Flamingo
to Tennessee Reef Light to 23 nm southwest of Marathon Humps, moving
east at 25 knots.
Locations that will be affected include...
Mosquito Bank Light, Tavernier Creek, Dump Keys, Tennessee Reef
Light, French Ref, Twin Keys, and End Key.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
