...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE FLORIDA STRAITS SOUTH OF WOOD`S
WALL...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to south of
Halfmoon Shoal 20 to 60 nm out...

At 237 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located 16 nm south of Wood`s Wall East Crack,
moving west at 15 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
