...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE EASTERN STRAITS OF FLORIDA...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef west end of Seven Mile Bridge out
60 nm...

At 237 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
cluster of strong showers and thunderstorms, capable of producing
wind gusts near 30 knots. The leading edge of the showers and
thunderstorms were  along a line extending from 8 nm southeast of
Floyd`s Wall Northeast to near Floyd`s Wall Southwest to 15 nm south
of the Rips, moving northwest at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
409 Humps, Marathon Humps, Floyd`s Wall Southwest, South Rips, Rips,
and Floyd`s Wall Northeast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
