Through 430 am, scattered showers with a few embedded thunderstorms
will be nearly stationary, and dot the nearshore waters surrounding
the island chain. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near
30 mph, blinding downpours, and possibly a few lightning strikes.
Island locations near Islamorada will be most likely to be affected
and receive a quarter to one half of an inch of rain.
