Through 9 pm, isolated showers with embedded thunderstorms over the
nearshore waters surrounding Key West and the Outer Gulf will wax
and wane while remaining nearly stationary. Mariners encountering
these showers may observe gusts up to 25 mph, reduced visibility in
heavy downpours, and stray thunderstorms. Showers that form near the
Lower Keys may generate a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall.
