.NOW...
Through 1000 pm, widely scattered showers with possibly an embedded
thunderstorm, will be found on the gulf waters from 20 nm west of
mainland Monroe, to the vicinity of Halfmoon Shoal and the Marquesas
Keys. A few other showers and possible thunderstorms will also be
found over the distant Florida Straits off of the Upper Keys. This
activity will move westward at 10 knots. The stronger cells will
produce wind gusts near 25 knots, blinding downpours, and a rare
lightning strike.
