Through 10:00 am, scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will continue to wax and wane throughout the Florida Keys coastal waters as they continue to trek west northwest at around 10 knots. This activity will be capable of producing brief moderate to heavy downpours, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. In addition, this activity may also impact the Island Chain, bringing a quick trace to couple tenths of an inch of rainfall, particularly across the Middle and Lower Keys. $$
