Through 1230 pm, scattered showers will wax and wane along the
nearshore waters north of the Florida Keys, the outer Gulf Waters, the
Upper Keys, and the northern waters of Hawk Channel. Showers will
remain relatively stationary along a boundary from Carysfort Reef
Light to the Dry Tortugas. The stronger cells will be capable of
wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, reduced visibility in moderate
douwnpours, and possibly a stray lightning strike. Island communities
in the Upper Keys may observe an additional tenth to a quarter of an
inch of rainfall.
