.NOW...
Through 800 pm, a broken band of showers and thunderstorms will
stretch the length of the Keys from the Florida Straits 20 to 40 nm
off of Key Largo, along the nearshore waters surrounding the Middle
and Lower Keys, and out to the Dry Tortugas. This activity will track
east to southeastward at around 10 mph. The stronger activity will
produce occasionally frequent lightning strikes, wind gusts near 35
mph, and blinding downpours. Any island location along the Lower and
Middle Keys may be affected by some of these developing showers and
thunderstorms. Additional rainfall of three quarters to one and a
quarter of an inch will be possible.
