Through 1130 AM, a broken and arc-shaped line of thunderstorms will
continue to sag southward at 10 knots into the southeastern Gulf
waters near L and T Towers. These storms will be capable of frequent
lightning, blinding downpours, and wind gusts approaching 30 knots.
After these storms, sustained winds will climb to 15 to 20 knots for
up to a half hour. Locations further south in the Gulf may be in the
clear if the dry air noted on satellite imagery erodes these storms
over the next couple of hours.
