Through 1000 pm, clusters of showers and thunderstorms will track southwest to westward at 15 knots, over Hawk Channel and the nearshore Florida Straits from the Lower Keys to Rebecca Shoal. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 30 knots, blinding downpours, and a few lightning strikes. Elsewhere, a few showers and thunderstorms will be found over the outer Florida Straits off of the Upper Keys. $$
