.NOW...
Through 7 am, widely scattered showers and possibly a few embedded
thunderstorms will wax and wane as they move northwest at near 5
knots through the Deep Gulf waters, distant Straits of Florida south
of the island chain, and the Lower and Middle Keys and their
nearshore waters. Mariners encountering this activity can expect
bouts of moderate to heavy rainfall reducing visibilities, wind gusts
up to 20 to 25 knots, and possibly a few lightning strikes.
