Through 930 am, scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will move southeast to south at near 10 knots through the deep Gulf, nearshore waters of the Middle and Lower Keys, and surrounding the Dry Tortugas. The stronger of the cells will be capable of blinding downpours, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning strike. Island communities of mainly Big Pine Key to Key West will see around a half of an inch of rain. $$
