Through 10:30 PM, isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue to
wax and wane across the nearshore and distant waters to the north and
south of the Lower Keys. This includes portions of the southeastern
Gulf and Gulfside waters as well as portions of Hawk Channel and the
Florida Straits adjacent to the Lower Keys. This activity will
remain nearly stationary. Mariners encountering this activity may
experience gusty and erratic winds of up to 20 to 25 knots, reduced
visibility from heavy downpours, and occasional lightning strikes.
