Through 5 AM, a disorganized area of showers along, and south of, the Middle and Upper Keys will track to the southwest and west at 10 to 15 knots across Hawk Channel and the Florida Straits. The strongest areas of showers will produce wind gusts near 20 knots and heavy downpours. Island communities along the Middle and Upper Keys may see brief, light showers with minimal rainfall amounts of a few hundredths of an inch. $$
