Through 130 pm, scattered showers will embedded thunderstorms will
leak off the mainland into the Florida Bay and nearshore waters south
of the Upper Keys. This activity is capable of heavy downpours
reducing visbilities, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and occasional
lightning strikes. Island communities near Key Largo can expect a few
tenths of an inch in rainfall.
