Through 1030 pm, scattered showers with isolated embedded stronger thunderstorms will move generally to the east to southeast at near 15 knots across the Straits of Florida south and west of the Lower and Middle Keys. The strongest activity 20 to 60 nautical miles south of the Lower Keys will be capable of heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and occasional cloud to surface lightning strikes. $$
