Through 1200 PM, isolated showers with embedded thunderstorms will continue to wax and wane across the coastal waters of the Florida Keys as well as the Island Chain. The heaviest activity will be located in the offshore southwest waters of the Florida Straits. Shower and thunderstorm activity are generally moving northeast at near 5 knots. Mariners encountering this activity may experience gusty and erratic winds of 25 to 30 knots, reduced visibility from heavy downpours, and a stray lightning strike. On land, additional rainfall amounts of a hundredth to a tenth of an inch. $$
