.NOW...
Through 2 pm, scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will
move west to northwest at 5 to 10 knots through the nearshore waters
of the Upper Keys, and the Straits of Florida. Mariners encountering
the stronger of the activity can expect blinding downpours, wind
gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island
communities near Key Largo can expect a few hundredths of an inch in
additional rainfall.
