Through 1000 pm, a broad band of numerous showers with embedded
thunderstorms will be located mainly from the offshore Florida
Straits off of the Upper Keys, across the Middle and Lower Keys, and
into the Gulf waters north of the Dry Tortugas. This activity will
produce occasionally frequent lightning strikes, wind gusts near 35
mph, and blinding downpours. Island locations along the Middle and
Lower Keys may receive an additional three quarters to one and a
quarter of an inch.
