Through 700 am, isolated showers with a stray embedded thunderstorm
will track northwestward at 10 to 15 knots across the waters
surrounding the Florida Keys. The stronger activity may produce wind
gusts near 25 knots, blinding downpours, and a stray lightning
strike. Island communitites may observe up to a tenth of an inch of
additional rainfall.
