Through 930 am, scattered showers with a few isolated embedded
thunderstorms will move to the west at 10 to 15 knots across areas of
the distant eastern Florida Straits south and east of the Marathon
Humps. The stronger activity will produce brief moderate to heavy
downpours limiting visibility, wind gusts up to 25 knots, and a rare
cloud to surface lightning strike.

Through 930 am, a broken line of showers associated with a strong
cold frontal passage will move generally westward at 10 to 15 knots
across the southeastern Gulf, including the Dry Tortugas. The showers
will produce brief moderate downpours limiting visibility and wind
gusts up to 20 knots. In the wake of this shower and frontal passage,
mariners can expect suddenly freshening northerly breezes and
building seas.
