Through 300 PM, scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will impact portions of the coastal waters surrounding the Florida Keys. The greatest coverage of this activtiy will be across portions of the Florida Straits and the Bay and Gulf side waters north of the Upper Keys. The strongest of this activity will be in the Straits southwest of Marathon Humps and could produce gusty and erratic winds to near 25 knots, occasional cloud to surface lightning strikes, and reduced visibiliity in heavy downpours. $$
