Through 800 pm, scattered showers with a stray isolated thunderstorm
will move generally to the northwest at 15 to 20 knots through the
nearshore and offshore waters surrounding the Florida Keys. Mariners
encountering the stronger activity in the vicinity of the Lower Keys
can expect blinding downpours, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and
perhaps a few lightning strikes.
