Through 4 pm, scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will
move west to northwest at 5 to 10 knots through the CWA. Mariners
encountering the stronger of the activity, currently located in the
Straits south of the Layton, can expect blinding downpours, wind
gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island
communities can expect a few hundredths of an inch in additional
rainfall.
