Through 730 AM, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move northwest to northward at 10 to 15 mph, and be concentrated mainly over the near through offshore waters south of the Middle Keys. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 25 mph, a few lightning strikes, and blinding downpours. Some of these showers and possible thunderstorms will track over the island chain from the Torches to Marathon. Additional rainfall of one half to one inch will be possible. Elsewhere, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be found over the near through offshore waters from Key West to the Dry Tortugas. $$
