Through 900 pm, scattered showers with very isolated, brief embedded
stronger thunderstorms will continue to track southwest to west at
near 10 knots across the nearshore and offshore waters surrounding
the island chain. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near
20 knots, moderate to at times heavy downpours reducing visibility
for mariners, and a rare lightning strike.
