...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM CDT /3 PM MDT/ THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest
  Nebraska, including the following counties, in central Nebraska,
  Custer. In north central Nebraska, Garfield, Holt, Loup and
  Wheeler. In southwest Nebraska, Lincoln and Perkins.

* WHEN...From 4 PM CDT  /3 PM MDT/ this afternoon through late
  tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms will develop later this afternoon from
    southwestern into central Nebraska and are capable of
    producing heavy rainfall. Many areas in the watch area
    received heavy rainfall Tuesday evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
