.DISCUSSION...

The main fire weather concern regards today across southwest
Nebraska behind a dryline. Near critical conditions will continue
into the evening as temperatures reach the upper 90s, humidity
values have dropped below 20% and northwest winds gust above 20
mph. Moisture increases into the region through the week, which
will hold humidity levels well above thresholds. Of note,
southerly winds will gust above 25 mph for areas east of Highway
83 on Thursday.
