.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are expected to remain low this weekend into
the next week. A winter system tracks through the area later
tonight, which is expected to bring snowfall across most of the
region, especially areas along and north of Highway 2. Behind this
system, generally cooler weather is expected, which will keep
afternoon humidity values above 40 percent. Southerly winds become
southeasterly this afternoon, with gusts of 25 to 30 mph this
afternoon. Overnight, as the system tracks through the region,
winds shift to northerly. Gusts up to 40 mph are possible Saturday
afternoon, however, this will be accompanied with fresh snow and
falling snow.
