.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are expected to remain low through tomorrow
across western and north central Nebraska. Well below average
temperatures return for much of central and north central Nebraska
tomorrow, with highs in the middle 20s to 30s. This, combined with
increased moisture, will keep fire concerns low.
Well above average temperatures (highs in 50s to 60s) then return
for Monday and Tuesday, and this could lead to some increase in
fire weather concerns. Though humidity looks to remain above
critical thresholds, the mild temperatures will combine with gusty
west-northwest winds both days. The windiest day will be Tuesday,
where westerly gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour are possible.
This could lead to elevated fire weather concerns.
Much cooler temperatures then return for middle to late week,
along with potential for wetting moisture. After Tuesday, fire
weather concerns are expected to remain low across western and
north central Nebraska.
